I had a shoot on Saturday, and despite feeling completely out of it; mostly due to Friday nights shenanigans; I made it out with just some coffee in my stomach to meet up with Viresh and one of his new models Alison. I decided that we should just hit up Sparks street and shoot some shots looking down towards the city, and Viresh spotted this bench and thought it’d make a nice 2 page spread, I thought vertical with empty space was radder. Alison from Cover Models Management.

It’s fun going through folders long forgotten on your computer, especially when you’ve taken as many photos as I have in the past 10 years. I found this scan in one of those folders; it’s a photo of a street in New York city, shot with my holga, taken sometime in 2005. Its pretty strange to think about how many photos I’ve taken, and that for the most part, I will never lay eyes on 99% of them ever again. Maybe one day when I’m old I’ll sit down and go through them all.

I’ve always liked buildings that form a tunnel for a road, I’m not too sure why, they just always fascinate me. I can’t quite remember if it’s the other side of what you see here, or what was directly behind/above me, but there was somewhere that had apartments over this road.
