Miami was one of my first times hanging out with Nick, I witnessed him Hulk Hogan a t-shirt, nearly cry then focus a board when we hid the car keys on him for 20 minutes, and challenge me to a drinking competition at least twice a day. Sweet dude, who finally got a trick on camera with me despite his busted ass knee. It should also be mentioned that Nick is terrified of the ghetto. For now here’s a portrait of Nick, well more like a snapshot with available light, on the pier where we spent the afternoon getting sunburns and skating some sweet benches.

This is a photo I shot sometime this past winter, I just found it randomly when I opened bridge. Since I haven’t posted anything in a while I thought I’d just put this one up. Erin Heather did the make up and the model is Christine from Angies Models in Ottawa.

This was just a random shot from June of 2005 that I took while we were walking around Quebec city. The 4 guys on the right make up Outnumbered, while the guy on the left is Dan aka the 5th member and roadie extraordinaire.

I booked the studio a while back and Nat wanted to see what it’s all about, it’s probably the last time I use the studio for a while, not because Nat was a bad model, but it’s summer and I’ve got better things to do than shoot inside all the time.. like skateboard. So Nat and I had some fun, as per usual, our serious poses eventually turned into lets flip my hair, which we did back in October or September at Alli’s house. I think this one turned out better.

This is Nat on the day after my birthday, we went up to Tremblant for the weekend to hang out, go snowboarding and relax, kind of a down tempo birthday compared to my usual ones. Oddly enough it was pretty nice to wake up the next day without a hangover.. i must be getting old.

It’s been a while since the last update, I was in BC for the past week and a half riding it up in the interior… and I didn’t bring a camera. So here’s a photo from a few weeks before I left that I never got around to editing, make up was done by Erin Heather, and the model is Lucy from Modelmayhem.com.

Neil and Charlie at the quarry quarter pipe last November, decided to throw up both frames at once since they were side by side on the roll. I’m out of film for my Holga, time to hit up e-bay for some more. I’m really looking forward to the summer and shooting more with my Bronica, should be a summer filled with digital fish, and long lens medium format.. can’t wait.
