I had a shoot on Saturday, and despite feeling completely out of it; mostly due to Friday nights shenanigans; I made it out with just some coffee in my stomach to meet up with Viresh and one of his new models Alison. I decided that we should just hit up Sparks street and shoot some shots looking down towards the city, and Viresh spotted this bench and thought it’d make a nice 2 page spread, I thought vertical with empty space was radder. I met up with Gabrielle on Saturday to shoot some photos in the rain. I was expecting a little bit of rain, or some off and on stuff, but shit, it rained so hard I almost cried when I put my flashes back in the car. Somehow they all survived, camera too. Here’s one from that day, during the downpour.

This is a photo from a shoot i did sometime in the winter or early spring with Madelaine from Angies Models. Make up was done by Erin Heather. I don’t think I ever processed any of the photos from the shoot.

Here’s a high key photo of Taylor from cover models management, the make up was done by Emmanuelle Charlebois. I shot this one a few weeks ago in the studio and never really got around to going through the photos until now. I think the awkward pose and kind of moot expression on the subject fits well.

I had a photoshoot with Jamie and Christianna from Cover Models Management tonight, we shot on location on this roof downtown, it was pretty fun, really nice weather for the last day of summer. I have a lot of photos to go through still, but this one caught my eye.

Tonight I met up with Val a fitness model from the area to do some photos, we shot a lot of different looks and came out with some great photos, Emmanuelle did the make up, all in all the evening in the studio was one of the more fun ones, it’s always nice to shoot with someone fun.

This is a photo from a shoot I did recently with some friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. It was fun catching up with them, it seems like the last time we hung out they had just released their album 10 good reasons to move and they’re already releasing another one.. time flies when you’re not paying attention. We shot this photo for their upcoming album, you can check out some of the songs on their myspace.

I shot this photo of Cassandra about 2 weeks ago, the whole shoot didn’t go that well, it was a million degrees outside, the place we wanted to shoot was barricaded and the wind was having it’s way with my umbrellas. So I shot this with “barebulb” speedlights aka ghetto barebulb and had Cassandra walking towards me. The backdrop is actually the grey sky, make up was done by Emmanuelle Charlebois. Did a photo shoot last Friday on my day off with one of Viresh’s (from Cover Models Management) new models Cassandra, she was a pleasure to work with. The make up was done by Emmanuel I don’t have her full contact info but when I get it I’ll throw it up, first time working with her as well, she was also great.
