Digging back into the archives for fun today. I shot this photo of Aaron in Baltimore 2 years ago, pretty cool city, seemed super sketchy though.
This photos is from last summer on my trip to Philly, I was always so stoked on this photo, it’s pretty plain with simple lighting, but for some reason I always liked it alot. Maybe it has to do with the fact that Aaron has no issues nose grinding waist high ledges.
Once again it’s been a while since I’ve updated this, my blog software stopped working and I never took the time to update it. I finally got out after almost 2 months of no shooting, and shot this one of Tomas at a barrier spot. It was fun to hook up with the guys who I haven’t seen in a while. Shot this with my new alien bees, just 2 flashes.
This one was fun to watch, mostly as Aaron continuously landed in the grass then ate shit into the grass. I thought this photo was pretty cool too, we shot it shortly after we got back from Philly. I seriously only have photos of Aaron.
We shot this one back in the spring, it’s a pretty sketchy spot in terms of cars flying by Aaron at 80 on the parkway, and the 15′ drop to face break if he goes over the rail. I was immediately happy with this one as soon as I shot it, I wish we would have shot a little later in the day to get a nice glowy sunset instead of this blown out one.. we probably should have waited around. In cases like these sometimes 4 nikon sb80s just aren’t powerful enough.
So long 2008, happy new year.
This spot was hot for a few weeks, maybe it still is who knows. Here’s a photo of someone other than Aaron: Keith, doing a heelflip through the fence gap.
I’d been meaning to get out and shoot this photo for a while with Aaron. The Triton didn’t used to be locked onto that yellow thing, and you could move it around, unfortunately by the time we got around to shooting it, the chain was in place.. hence the busy background. This thing is big though, and Aaron tailslid it within a few minutes.
This was actually from my first day out with my new D300, who else would i test the camera on than Aaron. Fs flip off the bump and over the beaver pylon. We shot some sequences that day as well, and much to my delight, the memory card that they had sent me was corrupted, and about every 15th photo was unusable, which usually resulted in one of the key frames of the sequence being missing.. I was not happy. Check out the gash on aarons leg
This photo is a few years old, I think I shot it in the Fall of 2007, it’s the double set down on slater, Aaron was trying regular heel flip, and Seb went and did it switch. I guess that got Aaron going because right after that he landed varial flip first try, and fs flip 3rd try.
I shot this photo at the beginning of November, we actually got 2 photos done in about 30 mins, in the dark alone, as per usual. I was really stoked on this photo, the tree in the background is actually about 150 feet back, so I used a long lens to bring it closer to Aaron, and lit it up with a flash in the field. Used 3 other flashes to light aaron.
