Confederation Bridge
Confederation Bridge in PEI shot from the side of the highway in a church parking lot. This bridge is enormous, and the detail of the end of it sort of gets lost in this photo.. damn holga.

This was the first beach that Nat and I went for a walk on during our big exploring day of PEI. It was out of the way and just a nice little walk through the grass to the lighthouse and beach.
A large bateau in the Halifax harbour that we saw shortly after leaving the Garrison brewery. We also saw Theodore tugboat out and about but he was too far for a proper photo.
Right after we finished the Garrison tour, we walked along the harbour to go buy some fish for dinner. Little did we know that the fish would end up giving Nat food poisoning. We also suck at blackjack and lost $50 in 15 mins at the Halifax Casino.
Charlie trying krooks on the ledge at Victoria Island, too bad he hasn’t landed it yet, he wants to go back when theres a camera.
Other still crappy news: my ankle is still messed up, but getting better. Now at least I’m able to hobble around enough to shoot some photos so I’m stoked on that.. plus I have a cane now, can’t go wrong.
The first photo I took on our east coast trip, it was our first day in Nova Scotia, we had just finished the Keiths Brewery tour in Halifax, walked down the block, and took the Garrison Brewery tour. Garrison makes some delicious pints, and their tour is awesome: it involves sitting/standing at a bar, and drinking $3 pints. If you’re ever there, go visit, it’s just around the corner from the Keiths one.
Another one from my trip out East with Nat this summer, taken in Charlottetown PEI looking out into the harbour.
Maybe I just can’t use digital properly, or photoshop, but my slides from a $20 Holga turned out better than my digi files from a $1500 DSLR. This is a shot of Cavendish beach with my holga on a tripod, and my finger holding down the shutter in bulb mode.
Neil, a little bit on the tipsy side, still manages to heelflip this couch at the ghetto spot. And my ankle still isn’t fixed, the doctor said it would probably take about 2 weeks for me to walk again, and about 2 months until I could think about doing anything active.
