Chris, Peru and I took off in the car one morning and ended up in Trenton Ontario skating some really fun and empty park. By the end of the day we were exhausted, but decided it would be a good idea to drive to Toronto to see some friends. Around 2am we thought it about time to head back. Chris and I took shifts driving and got back to Ottawa at 7am in time for breakfast. This is a photo of Chris blasting an ollie at the park in Trenton.

Sweet I landed the cover of the Summer Music Festival Guide for Exclaim!

So this weekend was super rad, I got to accompany my french bro’s to Sherbrooke and Quebec city for a mini tour. Sherbrooke was pretty weird, good beers, good hang outs, dumb bartenders and tasty freezies.
Saturday night we were in Quebec city, that show was way different, the promoter is like 8 years old, and le ville de quebec c’est cool en esti or something.

This was our first mission out to shoot skate photos super early in the morning, the idea seemed great. Go to bed early, and get up at 4:00am to go shoot and skate. 2am quickly came around and sleep wasn’t had yet. 2 hours later we got up, got some Timmie Ho’s and got ready to skate. At 4am it takes about an hour to make your legs work properly.
Chris had to leave for work at 9am but not until he started throwing big ollies and kickflips over the hip. This is probably one of my favourite photos, I really like the sun behind him, and the blue skies.. also you can see water coming off his wheels from the mildew puddles still in the park.
